Begins in Tallaght
I am proud and humbled to have been nominated and selected to represent Fianna Fáil as a candidate in the Rathfarnham Electoral Ward in the Local Elections to be contested next June. The selection convention for candidates was held last night in the Maldron Hotel in Tallaght and was chaired by my colleague Cllr. Cormac Devlin of Dun Laoghaire.

I am delighted that my good friend and colleague, Emma Murphy, has been selected as my running mate.
In my brief acceptance speech to the delegates present, I quoted my political hero, Robert F.Kennedy:
Few will have the greatness to bend history itself but each of us can work to change a small portion of events, and in the total of all those acts will be written the history of this generation.
