How SDCC is Supporting Business in the County in 2016
I am Chairperson of the County’s Economic, Enterprise and Tourism Strategy Committee.  We produced the first Tourism Strategy for the County earlier this year and I chaired the Tourism Working Group which brought it into being.
Tourism development and promotion is identified as a new opportunity for jobs and economic growth.
The following initiatives and funding are being provided for in 2016:

Dublin South West
​A new Constituency of Dublin South West was established by the Boundary Commission in 2012.  Click here for a larger map.
It now incorporates a part of the old Dublin South Constituency - including the Rathfarnham, Balltyroan, Knocklyon and Ballyboden Areas.
The new constituency replaces the old four seat Dublin South West.
It has an electorate of almost 110,000 people.
It comprises the following Electoral Wards:

• Tallaght Central
• Tallaght South
• Templeogue-Terenure
• Rathfarnham
