 Calling all Women Innovators! The European Commission has launched the second edition of the Women Innovators Prize to reward three women who have achieved outstanding innovations and brought them to market. The Prize aims to raise awareness of the need for more female entrepreneurs and to inspire other women to follow in their footsteps. The first prize is worth €100 000, the second prize €50 000 and third prize €25 000.
 Since it first opened its doors on February 28th 2013, just over one month ago, Ballyroan Library has been visited by 22,000 people and 34,000 books have been loaned from the service! The Library will be officially opened on April 25th and a new Rathfarnham Heritage Walk will be launched on the same day.  The Balycullen Area Action Plan was drawn up as the blueprint for how the lands on both sides of Stocking Avenue were to be developed (and lands adjacent to Hunter's Wood and out to Oldcourt. This plan is now up for review and public consultation will commence from the 15th April until the 10th May.
