SDCC & Shamrock Rovers FC Announce Open Training Session
South Dublin County Council, in conjunction with Shamrock Rovers Football Club, are delighted to announce that LA Galaxy will be holding an open training session in Tallaght Stadium on the 20th of February, at 4pm. LA Galaxy are currently undertaking a pre-season tour of Europe and will face Shamrock Rovers in a friendly in Tallaght Stadium the following day at 4.00pm.

It emerged at the Public Accounts Committee meeting today 
that a large portion of the motor tax receipts is being handed over as a subvention to Irish Water.

My colleague, Fianna Fáil committee member and Spokesperson on Public Expenditure and Reform Sean Fleming brought this information to light while questioning senior officials from the Department of Environment at the PAC.

It was revealed that €290m from motor taxation was given as a subvention to Irish Water by the department in 2014.

Two significant enhancement schemes have been proposed for both Tallaght Village and Rathfarnham Village by South Dublin County Council recently.  These proposals have been advertised publicly and submissions invited from the public and interested parties to both.  Click this link for the proposals for Tallaght Village and this link will bring you to the proposals for Rathfarnham Village.
