Begins in Tallaght
I am proud and humbled to have been nominated and selected to represent Fianna Fáil as a candidate in the Rathfarnham Electoral Ward in the Local Elections to be contested next June.  The selection convention for candidates was held last night in the Maldron Hotel in Tallaght and was chaired by my colleague Cllr. Cormac Devlin of Dun Laoghaire.

More face-painting, music and bar-b-ques today at the Barton Fun Day in Rathfarnham.  Congratulations to the local traders who provide such a fun afternoon for kids and parents.  I wish the weather had been kinder to you guys too but it certainly didn't dampen the spirits!

Delighted to attend the annual Woodstown Village Family Day in Knocklyon Park.  Despite the unusually overcast weather, hundreds turned up to enjoy a day of face-painting, burgers, extraordinarily tall men and a flying visit from the Coast Guard Helicopter.  I'm full of admiration for the resident's association who put on such an amazing day for all the visitors - and it was all free!
